Half Marathon Race Information

Join us for American Discovery Trail Half Marathon on Labor Day

The ADT Half Marathon is the RRCA Colorado State Championship Race. The half marathon starts at 6:45 AM. Runners will run north on the Pikes Peak Greenway to a turnaround just north of Garden of the Gods Road and then turn back south along the same trail, continuing to the finish line at America the Beautiful Park. The trail is an urban trail with some sections of concerete, asphalt and crushed granite. Some of the concrete sections have an adjacent soft shoulder.

Do not park your car at the Park. Parking is not available this year in the County parking garage on the corner of Sahwatch & Vermijo Sts or along Vermijo St. west of Cascade Ave., which is closed due to construction. You can park along the street in any metered spot on the Labor Day holiday, which includes anywhere along Cascade Ave. Parking is available along Sahwatch St. or on an adjoining street. Go one block west of Cascade Ave. on Colorado Ave. and turn left (south) onto Sawatch St. and look for a place to park. Take a short 1/4 mile walk north to Colorado Ave., and then on Colorado Ave. over the RR tracks to the Park on Cimino St.

Bib and Shirt Pickup

Bib and Shirt Pickup Party on Sunday noon-5pm, September 1 at the Bristol Brewing Company, Wild Cat Room, 1604 South Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80905.


There will be pacers available for runners.

Sweat Check

Runners can check a bag at the America the Beautiful park pavilion. The bags will be stowed for distribution following the race. The race organization is not responsible for lost or stolen items, so please do not place valuables with your gear.

Aid Stations

Aid stations will be available at least every two miles. Water and Gatorade will be offered at each station, with an energy gel at select stations.


Restrooms will be available at the start and finish lines, as well as several additional locations along the course.

Pets, Strollers, and Headphones/Earbuds

For insurance purposes, no pets, baby joggers or bikes may accompany a runner. In addition, headphones/earbuds are highly discouraged.


Expect temperatures in the high 40s to low 50s at the start of the race and between the 60s and 90s at the finish. Please be sure to check the weather forecast prior to race day.


Complete results will be available as soon as possible following the race.

Post Race Food and Drinks

Jersey Mike's subs, Marco's Pizza, Bristol beer, along with fruit and sodas will be available after the race.
